Owing to the nationwide lockdown, the shoots of films and television shows had to be stopped. This has led to three television shows going off-air abruptly. The channel has decided that the three shows will not be returning on-air even after the lockdown.
Ashish Chowdhry starrer Beyhadh 2 is one of the three shows that will not return on air. While talking to a daily, Ashish said that nothing official has been conveyed to them as of now. He said that it was one of the biggest shows and that the standing cost was high and was not easy for the producer to handle given the current crisis. The actor said that if this move saves the producer from a crisis then he can understand.
Ashish said that the show is doing well digitally both in India and other countries. He hopes that the show reaches a culmination and does not end abruptly.
The actor said that the producer has been good with payments and hopes that the crew involved in the project gets other opportunities.
