Shahid Afridi Celebrated 20th Wedding Anniversary

Shahid Afridi is known for his explosive batting style. Shahid Afridi “Boom Boom” is a retired Pakistani cricketer and also a Pakistani cricket team captain. He was born on March 1, 1980 in a tribal area under the jurisdiction of the Khyber Federation of Pakistan. In general, the right-handed all-rounder Afridi is known for his energetic eye-catching style. He’s also a thrifty, steady bowler and his tempo changes aren’t all about spin. He is known for keeping the fastest century with just 37 goals and was later surpassed by South African batsman AB de Villiers. Afridi currently holds the highest six-point record in the history of ODI cricket.

Afridi’s club career started in 2001 when he signed with Leicestershire. He won the match against Derby County in the semi-finals of the C&G Cup. He continues to play for several other clubs and is also chairman of the PSL team Peshawar Zalmi. According to the Do Something Foundation, he was also one of the top 20 nonprofit athletes in the world in 2015.
