Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is considering restricting the use of social media among cricketers by introducing a special clause in the next central contracts.
According to the special clause, national players will be required not to disclose any activities of the team on social networking platforms during any series.

Inside sources claim that PCB has been exploring measures to reduce the activities of cricketers on social media for some time now.
The current central contracts will expire on 30 June while the players are expected to sign the next central contracts before departing to England for 3-ODI and 3-T20I series.

Fast bowler Hasan Ali and all-rounder Faheem Ashraf are expected to be offered central contracts while opening batsman Shan Masood and middle-order batsmen Haris Sohail and Asad Shafiq are expected to miss out on central contracts this year.
Opener Fakhar Zaman and middle-order batsman Fawad Alam are expected to be promoted to the B category of PCB’s central contract list while pacers Haris Rauf and Mohammad Hasnain are expected to be offered C category contracts.
