Vaneeza Ahmed is a supermodel and she is from a fashion era when supermodels were reigning supreme in the Pakistani fashion industry. She has been a huge name in modelling and later transitioned into acting quite successfully. Vaneeza is a very strong woman and she also prefers to take up roles on screen that depict strong women. She is recently seen in Kuch Ankahi where her character stands up for women’s rights in inheritance as well as importance of properly filling a Nikkah Nama.
Vaneeza talked to BBC Urdu about her project and her character and she also revealed some unknown parts of her personal life. She revealed that showing the importance of Nikkah Nama was a must for her as well because though she is a very strong and successful woman but even her Haq Meher was decided haphazardly and she was not consulted.
She revealed that her mother kept her Haq meher to be only Rs. 24 as it was her mother’s Haq Meher back in the day. She said that she was shocked to know this but even she was not able to speak out at that point.
