PSL is a phenomenon that we anticipate each year and is unadulterated entertainment for all. This year PSL 8 arrived with many high-scoring, high-voltage games and fans loved to watch the scores climbing and sixes flying out of the stadium. Lahore Qalandars, the crowd’s favorite team, won the championship by successfully protecting it, and PSL 7 was replayed in the championship game. The Qalandars of Shaheen Shah Afridi ultimately prevailed despite the Multan Sultans’ best efforts. They always enjoyed family-style celebrations. With his Nikkah being performed this year, Shaheen Shah Afridi is having a fantastic year. Ansha Afridi, Shahid Afridi’s daughter, was the bridegroom’s wife. The newlyweds had gotten a ton of well wishes from their followers after the pictures from his Nikkah went viral.
Shaheen is now again a champion of PSL as a captain for the second time consecutive and celebrated the win with his wife Ansha Afridi. Aqsa Afridi, his sister-in-law, was also there to witness the game. The couple can be seen here enjoying the PSL 8 trophy:
