Pakistani music is hands down one of the best music in the world and Pakistanis keep coming out with global hits over and over. Bollywood also has a lot of love for Pakistani music as well as an affinity to steal or copy it in place of coming out with something of their own. After a huge fiasco that was raised over copying Abrar ul Haq’s Nach Punjaban which was copied by Karan Johar’s production house in a film starring Kiara Advani, now we will have another of our hits “remade” by Bollywood and it is none other than Ali Sethi’s Pasoori. Pasoori became a mega hit after Coke Studio launched it last year and people were listening to it all around the world. It was a major hit in India as well.
Now, Kartik Aryan and Kiara Advani starrer film Satyaprem Ki Katha has a new version of this song sung by Arijit Singh. The song was teased and a lot of hype was created among the masses, all of it negative. Not only Pakistanis but Indian fans also have no idea why they have copied Pasoori in Satyaprem Ki Katha.
