This year, Pakistani television channels have produced numerous hit serials with mindless and regressive male characters. Here we will mention the characters who are setting really bad examples in the society. Such men are harmful for the society.
Fardeen from Mere Ban Jao
Fardeen from Mere Ban Jao is the a selfish, self-centered and egoistic guy who displays the behaviour of a psychopath. The character is played by Azfar Rehman. Well, in the drama Fardeen is obsessed with his cousin and fiancée Azmia. Fardeen’s character was of a dangerous lover who just wanted Azmia’s love and attention in both wrong and right ways. The guy demanded consummation of marriage from Azmia right before their Rukhsati and ended up divorcing her in anger and later on urged Azmia to keep quiet. Lately, he wasn’t even embarrassed on his heinous crime. After divorce he started plotting against Azmia and made everyone believe that he was right and Azmia was wrong. He was the one who put the blame on Azmia that she’s interested in Zaki and made her homeless. This spineless character is setting extremely bad example in society and giving a wrong message that girls are not even safe in their own houses. Fardeen is not going to change anytime soon, he has plans in his pocket to destroy Azmia with his filthy schemes.
Fardeen’s Father Murad from Mere Ban Jao
If anyone that is competing with Fardeen is his very own father Mr. Murad who always covers his son’s evilness, sins and wrongdoings. Murad is being performed by Qaiser Khan Nizamani. He is an extremely rude man who has spoiled his son and converted him into an egoistic man. Not only this, Murad is the one who doesn’t talk with the ladies in a respectful manner. His attitude is extremely bad with his own wife and his sister in law. On his son’s wrongdoings, he blatantly blamed Azmia and her family and took side of his son. Probably, the only good thing he did was taking the pistol from his evil son’s hand when he was after Azmia when she backed out from re-marrying Fardeen after divorce. Murad is still the same in anger and his avatars are the same.
Rohail from Tere Bin
Rohail is the negative character of the most popular drama serial Tere Bin which is being played by Subhan Awan. Well, the character is the most stupid and brainless person on earth who has developed one sided feelings for his class fellow Meerab who doesn’t even think about him. Meerab has gotten married and Rohail is still chasing her. He is stalking a married woman and in his mind he thinks that Meerab loves her and would come to her after taking divorce from her husband. The worst thing he did was to forgetfully dragged Meerab to his apartment when he was alone just to show his obsession for her.
Malik Zubair From Tere Bin
Tere Bin has a lot to offer, Malik Zubair is the next candidate who is standing tall in the race of mindless men who are harming society by setting wrong examples. He is an enemy of Murtasim Khan and took his revenge from him on a land dispute. Malik Zubair kidnapped Murtasim Khan’s wife Meerab and killed Murtasim Khan’s people as well. Well, Zubair was given multiple chances by Murtasim Khan but he didn’t change, Malik Zubair contacted Murtasim’s sister Maryam, started a love affair with her and trapped her in his false love. Maryam left her house in Malik Zubair’s love. Well, showing this kind of character on television is extremely harmful. Such spineless cruel characters shape society’s behaviours and viewers might take wrong messages. It’s high time for drama makers to tone down the negative characters.
Babar From Pyari Mona
Babar from Pyari Mona is self-obsessed and narssassict who always thinks about himself. He is a shallow man who is always ready to body shame others. Banar never took care of his wife, he didn’t pay attention towards her anxiety and depression which took her life. He always been body shaming Mona. The guy has no remorse on the death of his wife rather he is still after beautiful girls. He has ruined Mona’s life by marrying her for sake of his daughter. Now, Babar is only interested in his girlfriend. He has no respect for his blood relations. He’s just a man full of himself and a woman like Mona should be out of the life of such a thankless man. Well, the marriage of Babar & Mona wasn’t a brilliant idea, Mona staying in the relationship is even worse.
Hassan From Mere Ban Jao
Mere Ban Jao is taking the lead in negative characters. Hassan played by Afraz Rasool seems to be a copy pasting of his character in Yaqeen Ka Safar. Well, after knowing about his sister Azmia he didn’t believe her and took side of Fardeen. Hassan was the one who threw his sister out of the house and didn’t accept her. On many occasions, when Hassan’s sister wanted to return he refused that and being the bread earner of the house dictated his mother to disown Azmia. The poor mother had to disown her daughter on the order of her ruthless son who always follows his wife’s commands.
