Humaira Bano is a seasoned Pakistani TV actor who has worked in multiple hit drama serials which include Umeed, Meharposh, Mera Rab Waris, Malaal e Yaar, Dolly Darling, Meray Apnay, Bay Naam, Banno, Deewanagi and Mehroom. Humaira Bano is famous for portraying the characters of the mother in mainstream Pakistani dramas.
Recently, Humaira Bano appeared in 24 Plus’s podcast, hosted by Uzma Tahir. In the podcast, the brilliant actor called out Firdous Jamal.
Talking about him, Humaira Bano said, “I felt angry and sad after hearing Firdous Jamal’s inappropriate remarks against the women who are working in the showbiz industry. I have worked with him in the past, but now I won’t work with him. Firdous Sahab, I am telling you, you are also a person with low character (referred to the word he used in the past for female actors), like you think the women in the industry are. Your sons are also part of this industry, and not only this, you have earned your bread and butter through this industry all your life, which is now abused by you.”
She further added, “You said that you don’t want to be called a ‘characterless person’, and that’s why you left your house after watching your daughter-in-law on TV, but you are a man with the same low morals and character because you also belong to the same industry.
