Hina Bayat is an intelligent, empathetic and talented artist who has always worked towards creating a difference in society. She has also been a part of some great projects and chooses her scripts that have substance. She has been a great host, an activist and an actress. Hina Bayat just went through some very difficult times in her life as she lost her husband Haji Roger Dawood Bayat to cancer earlier this year. A very strong person, Haji Roger Dawood Bayat fought cancer for over a year after his diagnosis and left this mortal world with his mark on everyone he met.
Hina Bayat has been an inspiration for everyone who has lost a loved one as she has been super strong and even went to Syria and Turkey to help the earthquake victims after losing her husband. Hina Bayat was a guest on Nida Yasir’s show and shared some unknown facts about her husband.
She shared that years before she lost her husband, she got a spiritual message that she will go through something difficult as Allah wants her to love him the most. She said that at that point she had not understood the message but now she does.

She also revealed the truth behind her husband’s name. She shared that her mother-in-law was Irish while her father-in-law was a Pakistani so they named their son Roger Dawood. Later on her husband said that there is only one name a person can acquire and that is of a Haji after you perform Hajj and using that with his name was special to him. That is why Hina put Haji with her husband’s name over his gravestone.
