Arif Lohar is one of the biggest names in Punjabi music in the whole world. He carried his father Alam Lohar’s legacy forward and he has given us some legendary songs on his own as well. His Jugni, Maa and the recent phenomenon Aa are ultimate hits and they are streamed by people from every age group.
Arif Lohar was a guest on Wasi Shah’s show and he talked about losing his father at the age of 10. He was very close to his dad and losing him was the biggest trauma for him. It was also his very first brush with death of a loved one and it is a pain that he feels till this day when he realized that his father is not there standing behind him.
