Talking about it, Angeline Malik said, “So, basically, my Nana wanted my mother to marry a famous Karachi-based doctor (eye specialist). He even sent him abroad for further studies so that he would come back and marry my mother. However, she chose my father. Since he was our acquaintance, so I used to take my mother to him for her regular eye check ups. When my dad was diagnosed with cancer, he took a promise from me that I won’t take my mother to him again. It was quite a funny wish that he made.
