Dr. Jamil Asghar, Director of Translation and Interpretation at the National University of Modern Languages (NUML) has received a Merit of Distinction by Translators without Borders for his work in translations and reviews over the last two years.
Translators without Borders is a certified, global organization that translates and reviews works in English and has made tremendous contributions to various cultures all over the world.

Hailing from the organization’s prestigious Kató platform, Dr. Asghar has contributed more than 100,000 words to the organization. He also achieved 4.77/5 as his quality assessment score – the highest achievement for any non-native English translator/reviewer.
Dr. Asghar is the only Pakistani to have achieved this feat which is a proud statistic for the country.
