Karachi University Announces Online Test Admission Schedule

Karachi University (KU) has announced its entrance-test-based online admission 2021 policy for its Bachelor’s and Master’s programs in Doctor of Pharmacy, Doctor of Physical Therapy, and Department of Visual Studies.

KU Registrar, Professor Dr. Abdul Waheed, said on Monday that all the relevant information regarding the admissions, including the online admission form, the prospectus, and the submission guidelines, is available on the university’s web portal. He added that applicants need to submit their documents with the paid fee voucher by 30 November.

KU is also offering online admissions for its Bachelor’s programs in the departments of Applied Chemistry and Chemical Technology, Applied Physics, Biotechnology, Business Administration, Chemical Engineering, Commerce, Computer Science, Education, Environmental Studies, Food Science and Technology, International Relations, Mass Communication, Public Administration, Petroleum Technology, Special Education (BA Hons.) and Teacher Education (B.Ed. Hons.), and the School of Law.

Admissions are also open for the Master’s programs in the departments of Business Administration, Commerce, Mass Communication, Public Administration, and Pakistan Studies.

Dr. Waheed also announced that this will be the first time in the history of KU that it will conduct its entry tests through its recently-established ‘KU Assessment and Testing Service’.

He added that the applicants for the Bachelor’s program in the Department of Visual Studies must have at least 45 marks in their Higher Secondary School Certificate or in its equivalent examinations, and that the equivalent diploma holders should have at least 60 marks to appear in KU’s aptitude test.

The KU Registrar also clarified that students applying for self-finance or the reserved seats must take the university’s entry test and clear it to be considered for admissions.
