Reportedly, the Chinese Smartphone maker OnePlus is planning to launch the OnePlus 9 by March 2021. Just a few days after this news, CAD renders of the upcoming smartphone were shared by 91mobiles.
The renders suggest that the smartphone will come with a flat display with a punch-hole camera at the top-left corner. At the back, it will flaunt curved sides and a rectangular camera module that will house two large lenses, a smaller camera, and an LED flash. The report further suggests that the OnePlus 9 will be fitted with a 6.65-inch display that will support 120Hz refresh rate.
However, a reliable tipster Max Jambor tweeted that the renders are inaccurate since they do not endorse any of the information he was given.
In other news, an alleged OnePlus 9/9 Pro was spotted at Geekbench yesterday under the codename Lahaina. The scores suggest that the smartphone listed features 8 GB RAM. Moreover, the cores of the CPU reveal that the series will most likely be powered by the upcoming Snapdragon 875 Mobile platform. The handset was running Android 11 OS and since OnePlus 8T arrived with support for 65W fast charging, it is highly likely that the OnePlus 9 series will also come with the same.
More details regarding the OnePlus 9 will surface in the upcoming weeks.
