Lahore Qalandars’ owner, Rana Fawad, has revealed that he is looking to start a school system as his next initiative. Fawad revealed that the school will be opened in Sundar and the construction of the school is already underway.
Lahore Qalandars have been known for taking up initiatives to unearth new talent in Pakistan. Their efforts have been fruitful in the world of cricket as Haris Rauf and Dilbar Hussain have come up the ranks through talent hunt programs.
Fawad revealed that the school will be a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) school and will enroll students from the 9th grade onwards. The vision of the school is to prepare students to develop into world-class scientists, engineers, researchers and educationists in Mathematics and Science-related fields.
He said that he wishes the students to study in top universities such as Harvard, Oxford and Cambridge. The school will have all the top-class facilities and will help the students to achieve bigger and better things.
Fawad Rana’s team, Lahore Qalandars, qualified for their first PSL final and will face Karachi Kings in a nail-biting clash.
