Indian Actor Sanjay Dutt has beaten cancer. Yes, this is what the actor happily announced today. Dutt shared a statement for his fans about his health on Wednesday. Sanjay Dutt said that he has emerged ‘victorious’ in the battle with cancer as he beats it.
Dutt mentioned in this statement that the last couple of months have been difficult for his family but he is finally cured of the disease.
“The last few weeks were very difficult time for my family and me. But like they say, God gives the hardest battles to his strongest soldiers. And today, on the occasion of my kids’ birthday, I am happy to come out victorious from this battle and be able to give them the best gift I can–the health and well-being of our family,” said the Bollywood superstar in his note.
“This wouldn’t have been possible without the unwavering faith and support from all of you. I am eternally grateful to my family, friends and all the fans who have stood by me and been my source of strength through this trying time. Thank you for the love, kindness and the countless blessings that you have sent my way,” he added.
Sanjay also thanked his doctors for taking good care of him.
“I am especially grateful to Dr. Sewanti and her team of doctors, nurses, and the medical staff at Kokilaben Hospital who have taken such good care of me in the last few weeks. Humbled and grateful,” he added.
Bollywood superstar Sanjay Dutt established himself as one of the most popular Hindi film actors. A recent photo of Kanoon Apna Apna actor as he poses with a fan has triggered health concerns from his fans.
In August this year, Dutt was reportedly diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer. And, the news as a shocker for his fans.
Soon, a picture of the B-Town superstar surfaced on the Internet which left the fans worried about his health. Owing to the effect of his chemo session, the 61-year-old actor looked visibly thinner.
Just recently, Dutt opened up for the first time regarding his battle with cancer. Sanjay Dutt was optimistic about beating the disease soon, and, here he is, cancer-free today as he beats cancer in this hard battle!
Dutt will resume shooting for KGF: Chapter 2, where he plays the antagonist Adheera. Moreover, his last release was Mahesh Bhatt directorial Sadak 2 and his upcoming movie is Bhuj: The Pride of India.
