Sarah Ali Khan is the paternal granddaughter of Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi and Sharmila Tagore. Sarah Sara Ali Khan is predicted to be the next big superstar of Bollywood. She was born in the royal Pataudi family on August 12, 1993, and completed her graduation from the Columbia University of New York in 2016. She is an Indian actress and works in Bollywood movies.
Sara first grabbed the attention of the whole industry when her picture with her mother Amrita Singh got printed on the Hello magazine cover page which earned her numerous acting and modeling offers from the industry but her parents wanted her to complete her studies first at that point of time.
She started her acting career with the debut movies Kedarnath and Simmba in 2018. She played the role of the leading lady in both these movies. Both her movies went successful in doing commercial business. Also, Kedarnath earned her Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut. In 2019, she made her way to get herself included in the list of Forbes India’s Celebrity 100.
She has a younger brother, Ibrahim, and both brother and sister share a close bond with each other. Her half-brother, Taimur, is the son of Saif Ali Khan from his second marriage to Kareena Kapoor Khan. Sara Ali Khan is of Pashtun and Bengali descent predominantly on his father’s side and she has a Punjabi descent as well on her mother’s side.

Sara is also starred opposite Karthik Aryan in Imtiaz Ali’s romantic drama film Love Aaj Kal, a spiritual sequel of Ali’s 2009 film of the same name, in 2020. She portrayed the character of a young girl who is struggling with her past and can not decide on the present. The movie emerged as a box office bomb. She also received negative views about the movie such as Scroll.in’s Nandini Ramnath has stated that Khan simply does not have enough capabilities or maybe it is the lack of her acting experience to play the complex character which she portrayed in the movie was below the mark.
Khan is now starred opposite Varun Dhawan in the comic film Coolie No. 1 which is a remake of the same name movie released in 1995 by David Dhawan. She has also signed another movie by Anand L. Rai’s named Atrangi Re in which she co-stars with Akshay Kumar and Dhanush.
Her parents divorced in 2004, at that time she was just nine years and her mother was granted the legal guardianship of her children. in the start Saif was not allowed to meet her or her brother but after their reconciliation, both the father-daughter have become best friends. Sara also holds a very good relation with her step-mother, Kareena Kapoor Khan, she is fond of Kareena and even once in 2018 she stated that ‘I would like to imbibe her professionalism in me’.
