Recently rumors went ripe that veteran actress Rubina Ashraf had been in a critical condition and shifted on ventilator after acquiring the very contagious virus, COVID-19. Some people even circulated rumors of her death.
It was only later that Rubina Ashraf’s daughter Minna Tariq took to her social media to clarify that her mother was alive and getting better did the rumor circulation stop.
And now, it seems, the veteran actress, herself, fed up of people spreading all fake rumors took to her Twitter to clarify that she was getting better and needed prayers for a speedy recovery.
“I am improving Alhumdulillah. Prayers for my speedy recovery. May Allah Pak give shifa to all the patients Aameen,” wrote Rubina on her Twitter, praying for all those suffering from coronavirus.
The actress also, herself, negated all rumors of her death, stating how important it was to not believe everything on social media.
“I’m alive, all rumors and news about my death are fake and false. Wonder why people spread rumors and fake news and what they want to achieve. Everything on social media is NOT true, cross check the facts before believing them,” tweeted the veteran actress and director.
