Xiaomi Launches a Cheap All-in-One Wireless Portable Printer

Xiaomi’s latest arrival to its long list of appliances and gadgets is a handy all-in-one printer that starts at only $70.
The new Mi Inkjet all-in-one wireless printer features Xiaomi’s traditional minimalistic design and comes with three main modes of operation including copying, scanning, and printing. Although it is marketed as a wireless printer, it can also work in wired mode as well.

KP Reportedly Shuts Down Pink Bus Service

The Pink Bus Service started to facilitate women in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) has been shut down, media reports claimed.
The KP government had taken the initiative for commuters in Mardan and Abbottabad districts in 2018. The Japanese government donated 14 pink buses for the cause in early 2018 – seven buses for each district.
KP government had intentions to gradually expand this project to other cities of the province. However, the lack of interest from female commuters has forced the provincial government to shut down the project.

Facebook Algorithms Promote Extremists & Make You Addicted to Social Media: Report

Facebook has struggled to control extremist and violent content on its platform since its inception. The social network giant found itself involved in controversy time and time again following the unfortunate events in Myanmar, New Zealand, and many others.

Mitron, The App Going Viral in India is Actually Made in Pakistan

The words can be devastating. Imagine yourself being a zealous Indian citizen, feverishly downloading and using the ‘Indian’ clone of TikTok as the government pushes its ‘made in India’ campaign, and suddenly finding out the app is not made in India after all, but your worst enemy Pakistan.

PIA Allowed to Run Direct Flights to USA

After receiving a go-ahead from the United States, Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has operated a direct flight between Pakistan and the USA. PIA flight PK-8711 departed for New Jersey from Islamabad, carrying 207 passengers.
PIA Spokesperson, Abdullah Hafeez, said in a statement that this was the first time a Pakistani aircraft operated a direct flight to this destination.

Sindh Govt Will Not Allow Any Exams This Year for Students of Class 1 to 12

Sindh government has decided to promote all students from class one to class 12 without taking exams, including those who failed in all subjects. Provincial education minister, Saeed Ghani, stated this in a press conference on Sunday.
He said that the decision was made during the steering committee’s meeting which decided to promote all students, even those who failed in more than 40 percent of subjects by awarding them passing marks.
No special examinations for improvement or failed students (of SSC and HSSC) will be conducted this year, he said, adding that students who want to improve their subjects will be given the opportunity next year.
