Microsoft Teams Ensures Secure Collaboration for Digital Learning in Pakistan

Microsoft made an announcement today in one of its blog posts, saying:
Today, as more and more people across the globe, including Pakistan, are required to stay home due to government lockdown interventions, we are seeing a massive shift towards remote learning. This has meant the growth in the usage of collaborative tools such as Microsoft’s Teams to create virtual classrooms wherein educators can communicate with their students in real-time.
In emerging markets alone, over 1.5 million students and teachers are leveraging Microsoft Teams as the remote learning platform during this period. Through such platforms, educators can connect with and support students in much the same way they could in person with live meetings wherein they are able to show video, share presentations, and even invite external speakers for virtual field trips. But, as students and educators move online, naturally there is an increase in the risks to security and safety.
In Pakistan, Microsoft has observed th..

New Type of Bird Flu from Chickens Might Kill Half of Humanity: Scientist

Dr. Michael Gregor, a scientist and physician, has made a startling revelation that an apocalyptic virus emanating from chicken farms can do a lot more damage than the COVID-19.
In his new book ‘How to Survive a Pandemic’, he has said that such a virus can kill half of humanity. Dr. Gregor has rated COVID-19 a category 2-3 on the hurricane scale of epidemics.
In the ‘hurricane scale’ of epidemics, COVID-19, with a death rate of around half of one percent, rates a measly Category Two, possibly a Three. … The Big One, the typhoon to end all typhoons, will be 100 times worse when it comes, a Category Five producing a fatality rate of one in two. … Civilization as we know it would cease.
He also wrote that it’s not a matter of if but when, adding that with virus mutating constantly, “this is the monster lurking in the undergrowth, the one that makes epidemiologists shudder”.
