Nadia Khan is a popular Pakistani media figure. She is a brilliant host and actor who is famously known for her morning shows and hit TV dramas. Her notable dramas are Des Pardes, Bandhan, Kaisi Aurat Hoon Main, Kaisi Hai Tanhai, Wehshi, Kamzarf and others. Recently, Nadia Khan planned to visit her father in Islamabad but due to the ongoing situation, she got stuck on the road for hours and it took long hours for her to reach the airport. The actor opened up about the country’s situation and also shared her father’s opinions.
Nadia Khan said, “It is so sad to see the situation. I am in Islamabad and we have to reach the airport in a while but all the routes are closed. It’s so sad, we are the citizens of the country where it has become a challenge for people to live. Whenever these protests happen, we see containers everywhere. Why are you closing Rawalpindi or airport routes just because a protest is happening in Islamabad. We have taken the wrong route just because the roads are blocked. I am utterly disappointed with the management. Protests do happen in the world but shutting down the cities is not the issue. Here is the link to the video:
Nadia Khan’s father was also disappointed with the situation. He said, “They have blocked all the roads and the police misguides you and send you to the wrong routes. Public has become irrelevant in Pakistan after seeing this situation of Pakistan, I feel disappointed. I regret my ancestors’ decision to leave their homeland for Pakistan. They have installed containers everywhere, and they will pay the rents of the containers from our pockets.” Here is the link to the video:
