Pakistan had imported mobile phones worth $1.684 billion during July-April (2020-21), as compared to $1.027 billion during July-April (2019-20), showing a growth of 64 percent, according to the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics (PBS) data. The overall telecom imports into the country during the period under review grew by 43.76 percent by increasing from $1.337 billion in 2019-20 to $1.923 billion during the current fiscal year.
