Some of these specifications have just been confirmed by Redmi itself. The Note 8 2021 will come with a 6.3-inch LCD and a waterdrop notch selfie camera. Screen resolution was not revealed, but it is unlikely that it will change from 1080p.
There will also be a vertical quad-camera setup on the back and a fingerprint sensor, meaning that it will look no different from the original Redmi Note 8.
Further, the main chipset will be the Helio G85 SoC, which will replace the Snapdragon 665 chip seen on the original model. The main camera will be a 48MP sensor and previous reports have said that it will be joined by ultrawide, macro, and depth units.
Other reports add that there will be an 8MP ultrawide unit and a duo of 2MP macro and depth sensors. The selfie camera will be a 13MP shooter. Battery capacity has not been revealed either, but the brand has confirmed 22.5W fast charging.
Keep in mind that some of these specifications have not been confirmed just yet, so take this information with a grain of salt.
