A new report from the popular tipster Ice Universe says that Samsung has started testing its AMD-powered Exynos SoC. He said that the new AMD GPU is being tested on the older Cortex-A77 architecture, but even then the results were astonishing.
Exclusive: Samsung is testing the AMD GPU in the new Exynos, and the Wild Life test on the 3D Mark has scored 8134 points. It is worth mentioning that the CPU in this test is A77 architecture, for reference only. Each test has different results, we need to wait for more results. pic.twitter.com/Rej9vqyP6s

The Exynos chip scored 8134 points at the 3D Mark Wildlife GPU benchmark, which is significantly higher than other chips in the competition. In contrast, the Snapdragon 888 and Samsung’s flagship Exynos 2100 were able to score 5382 and 5295 respectively. This makes the Exynos/AMD chipset over 50% faster than the competition.
What’s even more impressive is that beats Apple’s A14 Bionic which features the fastest smartphone GPU so far. It features on the iPhone 12 series and has an average score of 7500 on the 3D Mark Wildlife GPU benchmark.
As for the Samsung chip, it is worth mentioning that each test has different results so we will have to wait for more results. And since these are based on an older CPU architecture, actual results in the future could be even better.
We will get to see more once Samsung officially announces the Exynos chip next month.
