Waseem Badami is a popular Pakistani host who rose to fame through his political talk show 11th Hour but he became a more famous after starting the Ramadan transmission Shaan E Ramazan with Junaid Jamshed. Junaid Jamshed was the one who invited Waseem Badami to co-host with him in Ramadan transmission. Their hosting duo became popular and fans started loving Shaan E Ramazan. In December, 2016, Junaid Jamshed lost life in a plane crash along with many other passengers. Well, after that, every year, Waseem Badami conducts Shaan E Ramadan transmission but this year he got extremely emotional while starting transmission.
Today, Waseem Badami started the first show of Shaan E Ramazan live transmission 2023. He said, “we have an emotional connection with this set, how can you people forget that each area of this set reminds us of Junaid Jamshed, especially at the start of every Ramadan, I remember that excitement I shared doing program with him. I remember how we used to talk and laugh with each other, we used to start our transmission related discussions even before the month of Ramadan. Obviously, I feel very sad while starting this, I feel like if he would have been here, the things would have been totally different but my belief is that he must be in a great place, obviously, we remember all that time spent with him.
