Lately, he has joined YouTuber Nadir Ali’s new programme Ilm Or Alim in which he has given the religious explanation about engraving the tattoos, replying to the host’s question, Mufti Tariq Masood said, “It is strictly forbidden in Islam to get your body engraved with the tattoos. The person who engraves Tattoos on his body is a cursed person. This is Haram and unacceptable; for getting a tattoo you have to cut the skin or body”. He used the term “Jism Gndhwana” for getting tattoos and also said that it can’t be removed for the lifetime. He said that those who have had it willingly or unwillingly, will be bound to live with it, they will eventually be offering prayers with the tattoos.
