Kubra Khan is one of the most intelligent actresses of the Pakistani drama industry. She is very wise while choosing scripts and she has always done unique stories that had a huge impact on the audiences. Ali Allah Aur Insan, Sang e Mah, Sang e Mar Mar and Jannat Se Aagay are the stories she picks up but she changed her trajectory when she picked up Noor Jahan which looked like a typical saas bahu story.
Kubra Khan is on a tour of the UK for Palestine fundraising and she is meeting her fans. She has been answering questions about her work and she shared what pushed her to sign for Noor Jahan which looked like a very common story. Kubra revealed that initially when she was pitched the character, she also thought that Noor Jahan was a very typical show and not something that she will do.
She said that after reading the story, she knew that this script is not about saas-bahu toxicity but it talks about generational traumas and how Noor Bano was the one who finally changes these traumas. This made her sign up as Noor Bano and she finally did Noor Jahan.
