Faysal Quraishi has a career spanning over three decades. He has worked in different eras and he has worked in both films and dramas. He is one of the biggest stars in Pakistan and his dramas are always top rated and get millions of views. Faysal Quraishi is right now trending once again for his character Channar Khan in Khaie.
Faysal Quraishi has given a few hits in the last few years where he has played an older man who marries a younger girl. We saw this in Fitoor where there was shown a little bit of an age difference but not much. But in dramas Farq, Muqaddar and now Khaie, he is shown as a really old man marrying a young girl.
He was a guest on Maliha Rehman’s show and he shared his opinion about this coincidence. He said that he never thinks of it this way while taking up a character and it is not like those girls are really young. He said that he takes characters as characters. He has even played Imran Abbas’s father in the drama Meri Zaat Zara e Benishan. This is what he said:
Faysal also shared that there is a lot of favouritism in the industry. People bring new stars and then dump them in a few years. That is when Nauman Ijaz taught Faysal to not think about this stuff and just focus on his work. He applies that rule and he is ruling the industry after 3 decades.
