She said, “Roohi Bano was a schizophrenic for a very long time. She had a master’s degree in psychology. The problem was there as she used to pair different clothes when she used to go to her shootings; she was disoriented and unorganized. I also used to think she was not a normal person, but when she got the script on her hand, no one could tell she was sick because she was quite professional. Her mental illness progressed. Multiple sad events happened to her, her son died due to property issues”.

The brilliant actor further added, “She never stayed in the hospital; she used to run from the hospital because she thought her house would be snatched. Her son, Ali, took care of her, but when he died, she was all alone. She went to Turkey with her sister, where she passed away”.

Talking about why Faryal Mehmood felt relieved to hear about her death, she said, “When I heard about her death, I was quite happy because I thought she found a better place because her life was too difficult. She was in pain. You see how difficult this life is, you work here, you earn a name and then you suffer. It was quite a sad part of my life when people used to call me saying she was wandering in the streets in Turkey. Now, she is at peace for sure.”
