Arif Lohar is a famous Punjabi folk singer who hails from Punjab, Pakistan. He is also popular in the Indian side of Punjab because of his famous “Jugni” that went viral in India in 2006. He usually sings with his native musical instrument which resembles with kitchen instrument tongs. His folk music displays the picture of Pakistani Punjab’s culture. Arif Lohar has mesmerised Pakistani and international music listeners because of his hit and unique music. In 2023, his song “Aa Tenu Mouj Karawan” went viral and became a super hit song.

His father said, “Now people demand to bring my kids with me on the stage especially the youngest Junior Alam Lohar”. Arif Lohar’s famous son Alam also opened up about sharing stage with father, talking about it, he said, “Papa never asked us to sing with him, we just had a passion to go with him on the concerts, we were inclined towards music and that’s why we always go with him and this is how it started”.
