A cheaper Nokia Smart TV has been launched in India through Flipkart nearly half a year after the series was first introduced. The new variant features nearly the same design, a downsized display, and starts at roughly Rs. 69,800 (PKR) this time around.
The Nokia Smart TV 2020 features a 43-inch LED panel with 4K resolution and support for Dolby Vision, HDR10 content, and a wide color gamut. It has Motion Estimation and Motion Compensation (MEMC) technology as well as the ability to upscale lower resolution content to 4K.
As mentioned before, the design of the TV is similar to the bigger 55-inch model from last year with thin surrounding bezels and a thicker chin on top of a metallic stand.
In terms of audio, it has a 24W speakers optimized by JBL, Dolby signature audio experience, and enhanced loudness. There is also DTS TruSurround paired with a three-dimensional 5.1 channel surround sound. It boots Android 9.0 TV OS with support for over 5,000 apps and games.
As for connectivity, it has 2 USB ports, 3 HDMI ports, Bluetooth 5.0, and 2.4GHz WiFi. The TV is powered by a quad-core CPU with Mali 450 GPU, 2.25GB RAM, and 16GB storage space.
The 43-inch Nokia Smart TV will go for sale in India on June 8 and will roll out to the international market soon.
