Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) will operate two-way chartered flights between London and Islamabad.
The national carrier has increased the number of two-way chartered flights to cater to the increasing demand. These flights will be operated until July 10 through Hi-Fly, a Portuguese chartered company.
The first flight will take off for Islamabad from London’s Heathrow Airport on July 10, whereas the remaining flights will operate on July 12, 14, 17, 22, 24, 28, and 31.

The PIA administration says that passengers traveling to and from London on charter flights will experience amazing traveling facilities.
The national airline has to operate chartered flights to the destination because it has been banned from operating direct flights to the United Kingdom since June last year due to the notorious scandal of fake pilot licenses.
However, the Canadian authorities have allowed PIA to resume its flight operations to Toronto, which was earlier suspended due to a surge in COVID-19 cases.

The ban on direct flights was placed on April 22 due to the surge in coronavirus cases.
However, other travel-related advisories pertaining to Canada will remain in place, said the national flag carrier spokesperson. The airline will start with three direct flights per week from Pakistan to Toronto in the first phase.
