Pakistan Reports Lowest Coronavirus Deaths and Cases in 4 Months

Pakistan on Tuesday reported the lowest number of deaths from Coronavirus for the first time in more than 4 months.

According to the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC), 27 deaths due to COVID-19 were recorded yesterday. On 21 March, 20 Coronavirus deaths were reported.

Moreover, the same day (yesterday) also recorded the lowest number of Coronavirus cases for the first time in over 8 months.

NCOC data shows 663 COVID-19 cases were recorded yesterday. On October 20 last year, 660 cases were reported.

Meanwhile, Pakistan has reported 39 deaths and 930 cases of Coronavirus today, taking the total number of deaths and confirmed cases to 22,073 and 950,768 respectively.

After a brief disruption, vaccination campaign across the country has picked up the pace once again.

During the last 24 hours, more than 303,800 doses of Coronavirus vaccines were administered which included 248,000 first doses and 55,000 second doses.

Overall, 13,484,364 doses of Coronavirus vaccines have been administered so far which includes 3,566,547 initial doses and 7,267,000 booster doses.
