OnePlus Confirms Upcoming Flagship Phone’s Name

OnePlus announced the original Nord handset in July last year (launched in August). However, as far as its successor is concerned, the company is mum. Moreover, the rumor mill is not giving out a lot of details either.

Nevertheless, the lack of information does not mean it is not coming. In fact, OnePlus itself confirmed that the phone will be called Nord2. On its new website, in the FAQ section of a new Stadia Premiere Edition promo that it’s running in the UK, Germany, and France, the company has listed the name of the phone.

Now we don’t know if it is a mistake of whether the company meant to disclose the name of its upcoming product like this. Moreover, this Promo is going to be live until September 30. There is no point in including the upcoming Nord2 if it doesn’t become available before then. Maybe, the company is planning to roll out its second Nord handset before September this year.

As far as the specifications of the device are concerned, the few leaks and rumors online reveal that it will have the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 chipset at the helm and will have aesthetics similar to its predecessor.

More details will be revealed soon.
