Shoaib Malik’s position in the national team may be doubtful due to the emergence of Haider Ali, Khushdil Shah and Abdullah Shafique, however, the 38-year old hopes to play in the T20 World Cup in India next year and win yet another T20 title before hanging up his boots.
Malik has had an illustrious career, full of ups and downs. His passion and commitment for his teams have never been in doubt and he is one of the most successful T20 players in the history of the game. Malik is one of the three batsmen to cross 10,000 T20 runs and looked a class apart in the final of the recently concluded National T20 Cup.

Sialkot Stallions reigned supreme in the domestic T20 as they won 5 consecutive titles from 2005-2010. His other domestic T20 title came with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in 2020.
He also won the Bangladesh Premier League thrice and Caribbean Premier League once in 2014.
