Samsung Launches the Affordable Galaxy M21 With 6000 mAh Battery

Samsung just launched the Galaxy M20’s successor, dubbed Samsung Galaxy M21 in India. The smartphone comes with impressive Samsung Galaxy M31-like specifications. However, it does so while sporting a much more affordable price tag. Moreover, it is being positioned as a product designed for “tech-savvy young millennials and Gen Z.”
Design and Display Design-wise, the Samsung Galaxy M21 looks a lot like the recently launched Samsung Galaxy M31. It has a similar rectangular camera housing and a similar squircle fingerprint sensor on the back.
The smartphone is built around a 6.4-inch Infinity-U Super AMOLED Display with Full HD+ (1080p) resolution and 19.5:9 aspect ratio.
Internals and Storage As for the innards, the smartphone comes with Exynos 9611 chipset similar to the 2019-launched Samsung Galaxy M30s. The SoC is topped with 4 GB or 6 GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 64 GB or 128 GB of onboard storage. If that is not enough, it also has a dedicated MicroSD card for expansion.

As the COVID-19 outbreak forces nations to close down, companies are making telecommuting mandatory for all employees. Although the concept of working from home is not new, the urgent need for social distancing is quickly making it the new norm.

Punjab Govt Orders a Curfew to Control Coronavirus Outbreak

The government of Punjab has decided to implement ‘all possible’ preventive measures to control the spread of the novel coronavirus in the province.
This includes limiting the public’s movement in the markets, closure of markets, shopping malls, hotels, and restaurants at 10 pm. No commercial activity will be permitted after ten o’clock.
It was decided in a special meeting of Punjab Apex Committee convened today to oversee measures for restricting the viral outbreak.

WhatsApp is Bringing Self Destructing Messages Soon

WhatsApp is slowly rolling out a plethora of new features to its iOS and Android applications. The latest ones were dark mode and fingerprint authentication.
The Facebook-owned messaging application is now working to bring self-destructing messages to its platform soon. The feature that has been in testing for a long time will make it possible to delete messages after a certain time.

Toyota Yaris Launch Has Been Delayed Indefinitely

We have seen the impact of the coronavirus outbreak on the global auto market, with factories shutting down and drops in both sales and production. This will also affect us as one of the local automakers is delaying an upcoming model.
There are reports that the launch of Toyota Yaris, which was originally set to take place on the 27th March in Lahore, will be delayed. Due to the outbreak, the launch has been postponed again with no formal date announced as per media reports. Sources say:

Govt to Reduce Electricity Tariff Soon

The federal government has decided to review all local and international energy agreements to reduce the adverse effects of coronavirus on the country’s economy and to pass on the relief to the common man. This was decided during a federal cabinet meeting with Prime Minister Imran Khan heading it.

Facebook is Giving $1000 to Employees to Support Them Amidst the Epidemic

Facebook announced a work from home policy for all of its employees a few days ago and now they’re also planning to give out a $1000 bonus to every worker to help them amidst the epidemic.
The decision was reportedly announced by founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg through an internal memo on Tuesday. Facebook later explained the details saying that all of the bonuses will be distributed throughout April.

Crude Oil Prices Drop to Lowest Levels Since 2003

Oil extended its slide to the lowest level in almost 17 years as the coronavirus pandemic threatens to bring the global economy to a standstill, battering demand just as supply explodes.
Oil prices fell for a third session on Wednesday to be down about more than 17% so far this week as the outlook for fuel demand darkened amid travel and lockdowns triggered by the coronavirus epidemic.
WTI Crude oil was down $1.37 or 4.79%, at $25.96 a barrel. Whereas Brent crude was trading down 85 cents, or 2.92%, at $27.89 a barrel.
