Randeep Hooda turns a still from Extraction into a meme; relates it with people purchasing liquor
Randeep Hooda recently made his Hollywood debut with the Netflix original action film Extraction starring Chris Hemsworth. The film was released globally on April 24, 2020 and has been receiving positive reviews.
Now, Randeep took to his social media handle to share a still from the film where he is seen injured with a cast on his hand. He has blood stains on one side of his face. The actor made a meme out of this by relating it with the current situation of liquor buyers. Captioning the image, he wrote, “Coming back from the #Liquorshop be like ..”
The centre announced relaxations for phase 3 of the lockdown that commenced on May 4. The government allowed liquor shops to operate from May 4. This led to hundreds of people crowding outside liquor shops. Videos of people violating social distancing rules to get their hands on a bottle of alcohol were also doing the rounds on the internet.

Former Fast Bowler Exposes Wasim Akram, Rashid Latif & Aamer Sohail’s Role in Match-Fixing
Pakistan cricket has a gloomy past when it comes to match-fixing with some of the biggest names like Wasim Akram being associated with the corruption in the gentleman’s game.
Former fast bowler, Ata-ur-Rehman, has revealed that Akram destroyed his career. In an interview with a local news channel, he called Akram a match-fixer and Aamer Sohail and Rashid Latif his aides.
Admitting to changing his statement to Justice Qayyum Commission, Ata-ur-Rehman claimed that he did it on the instructions of Wasim Akram.
I will not keep quiet until he [Wasim Akram] admits having asked me to change my statement. My career was destroyed because of him.
“Aamer Sohail and Rashid Latif asked me to write and sign an affidavit and later leaked it to the media”, he further disclosed. The former cricketer also bashed these for first calling the PSL a corrupt league and then associating themselves with it for their personal gains.

Abdul Razak Dawood, Adviser to Prime Minister of Pakistan for Commerce and Investment, said that the novel coronavirus has changed the world as we know it. “The pandemic is a golden opportunity to pursue a Make In Pakistan Policy”, he added.
In a series of tweets, Dawood stated,
The adviser somehow gave a reality check about the current situation of the businesses. He noted that many of them are on the verge of closure and laborers are under the threat of losing their jobs.
“Under the circumstances, the need of the hour is a policy whereby we do not import, but make products in Pakistan,” said Dawood.
The advisor further informed that the Ministry of Commerce is aggressively pursuing changes in the tariff structure for the upcoming budget, which will allow the government to facilitate local production, thereby moving towards local manufacturing, pursuing our ‘Make in Pakistan Policy’.

Govt to Disburse Salaries and Pensions of May Before Eid
The federal government has decided to release the salaries and pensions of government employees for the ongoing month on 21 May, 3 days before Eid-ul-Fitr.
According to a notification issued by the Finance Ministry, the government is anticipating Eid-ul-Fitr to be on May 24 or 25, depending on moon sighting.

Cybercrime Goes Down by 50% After PM Imran’s Instructions to FIA
Air pollution is not the only thing that has seen a decrease these days due to Coronavirus, there has been a fall in cybercrime cases across Pakistan thanks to the steps taken by the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA).
