Batwoman actress Ruby Rose reportedly exited the show as she was distressed by the long working hours 

Batwoman actress Ruby Rose, after starring as the caped crusader for one season, announced her exit from the TV series. The news came in on Tuesday, May 19, that the actress will no longer play the role of Kate Keen / Batwoman on the CW series.

“I have made the very difficult decision to not return to Batwoman next season,” Ruby shared in a statement to Variety. “This was not a decision I made lightly as I have the utmost respect for the cast, crew, and everyone involved with the show in both Vancouver and in Los Angeles. I am beyond appreciative to Greg Berlanti, Sarah Schechter and Caroline Dries for not only giving me this incredible opportunity but for welcoming me into the DC universe they have so beautifully created. Thank you, Peter Roth and Mark Pedowitz and the teams at Warner Bros. and The CW who put so much into the show and always believed in me. Ranvir Shorey gets held up for over 8 hours with house help’s husband after cop claims that delivery of a child is not an emergency

Ranvir Shorey was heading to the hospital with his driver and house help’s husband when she was admitted in the hospital for her delivery. The hospital asked her to bring her husband before they went ahead with any procedure on her causing them to leave for the hospital. However, in a twisted turn of events, the cop in charge at one of the checkpoints claimed that the delivery of a child is not an emergency and hence held these three men back in their car for over 8 hours.

In a series of tweets, Ranvir Shorey explained just how bad this experience was and it was surprising to most of us since Mumbai Police is known for their cordial behaviour. Swara Bhasker travels to Delhi by road after her mother suffers a fracture

The lockdown has left many away from their families for over two months with barely any way of meeting them due to the Coronavirus outbreak. Now that the Lockdown 4.0 is upon us, the government has given a few leniencies and has opened up opportunities for those who need to travel for emergencies. It was only recently that Swara Bhasker learned that her mother has suffered a fracture in her right arm.

Needless to say, it left her restless and she was waiting for the permissions to open up before she could apply to leave Mumbai. As soon as the permissions were sorted, Swara left for Delhi via road since opting for a flight is not an option yet. It took her two days to reach Delhi with an overnight stay and now she’s with her mother to help her out. She’s very grateful for the authorities for allowing her to travel and she has taken all the necessary self-isolation precautions and has followed the protocols.

Anup Jalota has just made his acting debut as a fundamentalist politician in the Netflix series Paatal Lok. And if you think it’s just a one-off whim, then you are wrong.

The Bhajan Samrat says he is open to more acting offers. “Yes, why not? If I get more interesting roles, I would certainly like to take them up. I enjoyed acting for this series. When it was offered to me it was not called Paatal Lok. It was called Jamuna Paar and I was asked to play a politician. The offer came from Anushka Sharma’s office. They informed me that I’d have to shoot for eight days in Chitrakoot and then a couple of days in Mumbai. They said I had the correct look for it. I agreed without a second thought.”
Anup Jalota admits he enjoyed the new experience. “It’s never too late to take up a new challenge. And this was an easy one. Playing the Dalit political leader was not difficult at all. After all I had been on Bigg Boss which is the toughest role to perform for any actor.”

With the outbreak of coronavirus that has led to nationwide lockdown since March 18, movie and TV productions have been halted in order to contain the spread of the deadly virus. Anushka Sharma gets legal notice for use of casteist slur in Paatal Lok 

Anushka Sharma's production Paatal Lok, a nine-part web series which is currently streaming on Amazon Prime Video has been receiving positive reviews from all over. However, days after its digital release, Viren Sri Gurung, a member of the Lawyers Guild, sent a legal notice to Anushka Sharma for a casteist slur used in the show.
