Recently, Shaista Lodhi appeared in ARY Digital’s morning show Good Morning Pakistan, hosted by Nida Yasir. In the show, she gave a useful tip to reduce weight and improve health after cutting white salt from the diet.
Shaista Lodhi said, “Salt is important for us, but the quality and the quantity of salt matter. There is a small experiment that you all can do with yourself. Just measure your weight and stop eating salt for three days, and then see the change in your weight; you will at least lose 1.5 kg of weight because it is water weight. Remove white table salt from your life because it affects cognitive health, and it makes you bloated. Food with a high quantity of salt makes your body bloated.
