Mehreen Jabbar is an ace director of Pakistani dramas and films. She has given us some of the best content from pakstan television in her journey of over two decades. Daam, Doraha, Dobara Phir Se and Mata e Jaan hai Tu are some of the dramas that she has directed and people still love to watch them on their screens.
Mehreen is back again with the drama Nadaan on Hum TV that is tackling some big issues. She is also looking forward to making a big drama soon and she will probably start working on it next year. She spoke about how Pakistani dramas are doing great abroad and how they differ from the shows that are coming out of India. She said that India started making these series after Sacred games became a mega hit.
The director shared how budgets are so different in Pakistan and India and that shows in the final product. We are doing great work in limited budgets. She revealed that in India an episode could be made in 1 million dollars approximately. While in Pakistan an episode is made in 30 lakh rupees.
