The brilliant Pakistani director Ehteshamuddin has recently shared the last call details with ace Pakistani veteran actor Shakeel Yousaf who passed away on 29th June 2023. Shakeel Yousaf was 85 years old. Udaari famed director Ehteshamuddin revealed that actor Shakeel called him around a month ago. Ehteshamuddin wrote, “Shakeel called me and asked about my health, he also informed that he’s feeling better and is thinking of doing a drama. Shakeel further said, ‘Anwar Maqsood is writing a script for me, we will talk about it once the script will be ready, I want you to direct my play’, to which I agreed as it was an honour for me”. Ehteshamuddin also wrote that Shakeel wanted his last play to be his most memorable performance.
According to the details shared by director Ehteshamuddin, Shakeel further added, “I know, I am an actor, I know how to perform, I know when audience claps in praise, I want my last performance to be memorable which stays forever”. Director Ehteshamuddin said, “his voice was full of passion but that time didn’t come as he passed away.
