Former President Pervez Musharraf Passes Away

On February 4th, Sunday, Pervez Musharraf passed away at a hospital in Dubai. He was a general in the Pakistani armed forces and the country’s president for seven years. For many years, he had been engaged in a protracted battle with the rare disease Amyloidosis. Age-wise, he was 79.

All renowned international news sources also reported on the news of his passing. Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) released a statement shortly after former president Pervez Musharraf passed away in which they offered their sincere condolences.

“May Allah bless the departed soul and give strength to the bereaved family,” was how they expressed their sentiments.
