Rizwan surpassed Irish batsman, Paul Stirling, who held the record for most T20I runs in a calendar year as he scored 748 runs in 2019.

The 29-year old’s 752 runs so far have come at an average of 94.00 and a strike rate of 140.03 in 14 innings. His amazing run has included seven half-centuries and an exceptional century. He has also struck 25 sixes, the second most in 2021 so far.
