National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) has decided to keep the COVID-19 vaccination centers closed on the first two days of Eid-ul-Fitr.
On the other hand, Sindh’s health department has already notified the closure of vaccination centers for three days starting from 13 May.

In another development, NCOC has decided to extend the walk-in COVID-19 vaccination facility to citizens aged 40 years or above from 12 May.
According to the Federal Planning Minister, Asad Umar, who also heads the NCOC, citizens can go to their nearest vaccination centers after registering at 1166 to receive the Coronavirus vaccine.

Note that citizens will still be required to provide original CNICs to the healthcare staff before getting vaccinated.
Meanwhile, the registration for COVID-19 vaccination for citizens across all groups is set to start after Eid-ul-Fitr, with the government aiming to vaccinate over 70 million citizens this year.
