HMD Global has a reputation when it comes to delaying the launch of its smartphones. However, with its upcoming 6.3, 7.3, and the flagship Nokia 9.3 PureView phones, it has outdone itself. The company has been on a streak of delaying the launch since June this year.
Initially, the smartphones were set to launch in early Q3. However, the launch was pushed forward to 22nd September, which did not happen, so the company announced that the smartphones would hit the market in November.
Now, according to the latest report by Nokiapoweruser citing insiders from HMD Global, the launch of smartphones is being postponed again due to unknown reasons. The devices will allegedly be introduced by ‘the end of 2020’.
The Nokia 9.3 PureView is a flagship smartphone from the company that will be powered by a Qualcomm chipset and is expected to arrive with a 120Hz OLED panel and 108MP main camera with Zeiss optics.
The Nokia 7.3 5G, on the other hand, will most likely come with the Snapdragon 690 chipset and a 48MP quad-camera on the back. The Nokia 6.3 will come with identical specifications save for the 5G connectivity.
As far as the release date is concerned, the company has not announced anything at all, and there are chances that the launch will be postponed to Q1 2021.
