CM Sindh Murad Ali Shah Contracts Coronavirus

Chief Minister Sindh, Murad Ali Shah, has tested positive for Coronavirus, according to a statement issued by the CM House Sindh.

According to details, CM Sindh got himself tested for the viral infection, after developing a mild fever on Friday, which came back positive today.

CM Sindh, in a statement, has said that although he is feeling fine, he has gone into self-isolation on the instructions of his medical staff. He added that he will continue discharging his responsibilities from his official residence.

Coronavirus is regaining its foothold all over Pakistan as the country has reported more than 2,000 infections for the third consecutive day. In the last 24 hours, 2,128 new cases and 19 deaths were reported across Pakistan.

Meanwhile, the National Coordination Committee (NCC) is set to meet today with Prime Minister Imran Khan in the chair to devise a strategy to contain the rising number of cases in the country.
