Yasir Hussain recently made his directorial debut with music video ‘Dori’. Featuring Lahore-based musician Harris Jarral, the execution was impressive. The artist has previously written scripts, acted on stage as well as in TV and films. Adding to the list is an upcoming telefilm, Pyaas, in which Yasir Hussain is starring opposite Minal Khan. The two are coming together for a project that talks about Pakistan’s water crisis. Director Syed Wajahat Hussain is at the helm of affairs.

The upcoming telefilm, Pyaas is being directed by Syed Wajahat Hussain. As being reported the telefilm was shot in Potohar about two months ago and is expected to release sometime in January 2021.

Telefilm also features Tipu Shah, Madiha Rizvi, and Nazar Hussain in leading roles.
“It is a telefilm about the water crisis,” Yasir Hussain told Cutacut. “We shot it in Potohar two months ago. It is expected to release in January 2021.” In addition to Yasir and Minal, the upcoming telefilm features Tipu Shah, Madiha Rizvi and Nazar Hussain in important roles.
She is going to appear in a telefilm titled ‘PYAAS’ by Syed Wajahat Hussain. The telefilm takes us to the life of underprivileged women of Kohala Paien, Haripur, and their struggles.

Taking to Instagram Minal Khan dropped some pictures from her upcoming project and wrote, “Shameem is a window for me to look in to the life of underprivileged women of Kohala Paien, Haripur who walk through many miles to fetch water for their daily use. Portraying a girl who goes through all this was really a life time experience for me. “WATER” we consume daily & doesn’t realise that how precious it is for someone living nearby.”
