The Man Who Got Lahore Qalandars into the Semi-Finals Quits PSL 2020

Australia and Lahore Qalandars’ batsman, Chris Lynn, is quitting Pakistan Super League (PSL) and immediately heading back to his country amid Coronavirus pandemic.

It was just last night when Chris Lynn’s memorable innings of 113 off just 55 balls against Multan Sultans helped Qalandars reach the semifinals of the PSL for the first time ever in the history of the league.

In an Instagram post, Lynn informed his followers that he is quitting PSL 2020 with immediate effect.

Thoroughly enjoyed my time at the PSL. Unfortunately, in these circumstances, I’ve chosen to head home. I’ve always said there is more to life than cricket and this is certainly one of these cases. I have full faith in the Lahore Qalandars to go all the way but more importantly have fun lads! Thank you to everyone involved, Pakistan you have been a blast.

Once Lynn lands in Australia, he will spend two weeks in self-isolation as per government enforced precautionary measures.
