Seems like Shahroz Sabzwari is once again going to embroil himself in a controversy. As it appear, Shahroz gave a reply to Hamza Ali Abbasi, after Abbasi recently tweeted about needing no murshids to learn the religion.
Hamza Ali Abbasi took to his Twitter to share, “I fail to understand why we need a Messiah or an Imam or a Murshid…. When we HAVE THE QURAN!… We only need good teachers…”

Upon being questioned about who is a good teacher, Hamza replied with a definition of a good teacher, “Whoever says after Prophet Muhammad SAW tht they r free from mistakes or somehow guided by angels, Prophets or God himself… Cannot be a good teacher.. Or a teacher at all.”

However, without quoting Hamza Ali Abbasi or even calling him out, Shahroz Sabzwari gave his own definition as a reply, referring to Abbasi as a ‘thekedaar’ of Islam.
“And I fail to understand why some people become ‘THAIKHAYDAAR’ of Islam. We all need a Guide And a MURSHAD’S company to keep us on the right path. Jo pyaar karna sikhaye aur RASOOLALLAH SAWW Kay naam par QURBAAN Hona Sikhaye. For me Shahroz Sabzwari DEEN is only RASOOLALLAH SAWW.”

Shahroz then shared how he didn’t find anyone with a religion without having a ‘murshad’.
Jiska Murshad Nahi uska koi Deen nahi.
Jiska Deen Nahi usmay Jazba nahi.
Jismay Jazba Nahi usmay Muhabbat Nahi.
Aur jismay Muhabbat Nahi uska MURSHAD nahi.

Without getting into any religious debate, it is quite evident from Hamza Ali Abbasi’s tweet what he meant and how Shahroz seems to have misintepreted it about a teacher or a murshad.
