Boxer Amir Khan Steps Up to Help Pakistan Govt & People

Star boxer, Amir Khan, has stepped forward in the fight against coronavirus in Pakistan. He has donated a hefty amount of Rs 40 million for the poor segment of the society.

In recent days, a number of celebrities and charities have come forward to distribute ration bags and other necessary items for the poor who do not have any source of income amid the ongoing lockdown.

Amir Khan Foundation will make sure to distribute ration and other necessary things among the poor. I want to help the government of Pakistan as they assist the patients affected by coronavirus.

The British-Pakistani has also offered his boxing academy in Islamabad to the government for use as a quarantine facility in these difficult times.

Earlier, Khan had also offered his 4-story 60,000 square feet building in the United Kingdom to the NHS. He did it following the reports of shortages of hospital beds for patients in the country due to the coronavirus pandemic.
